No stranger to empowering moms that find professional fulfillment outside of the traditional 9 to 5s, Kim works with Independent Hay There Social Media Manager and founder of Raising Social, Kimberly Hermann.  Kimberly has done incredible work with her podcast clients including This Organized Life by Laurie Palau and was one of the first Independent Hay There Social Media Managers to go viral on TikTok.

Kim Rittberg recently contributed to Fast Company with an important piece that answers, “Where did the Great Resigners and the Quiet Quitters go?”  We know that tens of millions of employees left the workforce last year, from self employment to better roles, and it is notable to see where they have landed and what’s next for employees.  In a nutshell, Kim points out that “while many people are leaving the workforce or intentionally doing the bare minimum, I believe more people–particularly, but not exclusively–parents are reevaluating their relationship to work and pursuing job flexibility that allows them to fit their careers into their lives and not vice versa. And that is deserving of a catchy new phrase, perhaps The Forever Flex or The Great Reframe.”

In preparing this article, Kim sourced information including some from a member of the community of Independent Hay There Social Media managers who is currently a teacher looking at future career options to transition to.  It’s such a testament to the transferrable and versatile nature a speciality skillset in social media marketing can get you.  You can read her full article here.

Kim, who is all about women achieving success on their own terms – redefining and re-envisioning it, is celebrating the upcoming book launch by “Quit Your Day Job” podcast host and author, Alisha Fernandez Miranda.  Alisha is launching, “My What If Year: A Memoir”.  This book is part of the Zibby Books publishing company, by Zibby Owens, host of Moms Don’t Have Time To Read Books, which is starting its one-book-a-month, 12-books-per-year model with Alisha Fernandez Miranda’s memoir, “My What If Year.”

Alisha, a fellow mom of twins and CEO, took a year off from her high-powered career to try out the dream jobs of her youth.  Hay There Founder, Emily A. Hay, and Ali Spitzer, COO of Hay There, had the pleasure of being interviewed on Alisha’s podcast which will air soon.

If you haven’t checked out Kim’s podcast, be sure to!  And if you are looking for a proven path to work life integration, we’d love for you to learn about Hay There’s Core Training, for any mom.  Anytime.  Anywhere.
