how to work flexibly as a social media manager

Why social media? Why now?

Two of the greatest benefits of working in social media is that it is an in-demand field and it is truly flexible work. Rated one of CNNMoney’s Top 50 jobs in America in 2022, Social media skills are in high demand in a rapidly growing industry. People with this knowledge can often work anywhere from their smartphone.

You may use social media personally but did you know that businesses are looking everyday for people to help run THEIR social media accounts?

This webinar will help listeners learn about the opportunity that exists, as well as see a clear path to break into this space and see real life examples of people doing this work everyday.

Topics that will be covered during the webinar include:

  • What the social media industry looks like today for flexible workers
  • The skills needed to be a social media manager
  • How to get into this line of work
  • See examples of individuals successfully applying past skills into this space
  • What social media managers can earn financially

About Speaker Emily A. Hay’s Journey

After the early part of her sales career in corporate America, Emily A. Hay, Founder of Hay There Social Mediapaved her own way by using social media as her vehicle. Back in 2010 when even large companies were just testing the social media waters, Emily not only had the vanguard idea of starting a company to address the digital marketing needs of small business owners, but she hired a remote team of all women—mothers—who had temporarily sidelined their careers to raise children.

Following her passions led to her owning her purpose as she works to help women launch their own social media businesses so they too can live and work flexibly and intentionally in Work+Life Integration Nation.™
